Golf and Golfing on Achill Island
Achill Island hosts a challenging nine-hole links course set in a spectacular location in Keel, in the heart of the island. Operated by Achill Golf Club, the course offers golf at very reasonable green fees. Achill Golf Club also runs several open competitions during the year. For fun golfers, the historic Valley House has a nine-hole Pitch and Putt course. And for the more serious golfer, Achill is ideally located for the Championship golf courses at Westport and Belmullet (Carne).
